Q: Is hair loss in my future?
A: About 50% of men in the United States before 50 are affected by MPHL (male pattern hair loss).

MPHL is a common condition in many men. A nationwide survey of single, balding men showed that hair loss is the biggest appearance-related concern. So, if you’re affected by this condition, you’re not alone. Hair loss can start anytime - in your teens, 20s, or 30s. You may lose 50% of your hair before you start worrying.

Q: What causes MPHL?
A: DHT (dihydrotesterone) and family history are key factors causing hair loss.

What is DHT? It is a substance produced in your body that can shrink the hair follicles until they stop producing visible hair. If you have a family history of hair loss, you may have an increased risk for MPHL.

Q: How does PROPECIA (finasteride) work?
A: PROPECIA significantly reduces dihydrotesterone, a key cause of MPHL (male pattern hair loss), by blocking the formation of dihydrotesterone in your body.

Lowering dihydrotesterone inhibits the further shrinking of affected hair follicles.


PROPECIA (finasteride) helps regrow hair and reduces or even stops further hair loss. PROPECIA (finasteride) is the first and only approved by FDA treatment for male pattern hair loss proven to work in men with MPHL on the vertex (top of head) and anterior mid-scalp area (middle front of head) in men. (See Figure 1.)

The effectiveness of PROPECIA was confirmed by men participated in clinical studies. There is no proof that PROPECIA recedes hairlines at the temples.

Q: When should I start taking PROPECIA?
A: Clinical data received during the study shows that the sooner you begin, the better.

If you have male pattern hair loss, the sooner you started taking PROPECIA, the more hair you can save. MPHL study reported that men who were treated with a placebo and then after one year switched to PROPECIA (finasteride) never caught up to the men who took PROPECIA (finasteride) for the full 5 years.

Do not stop taking PROPECIA. If you did that, you may lose the hair you have grown within 12 months of stopping treatment.

In the first 12 moths of the study, 86% of the men who were taking PROPECIA maintained thair hair or even increased the number of visible hairs versus 42% of the men who were taking placebo.

PROPECIA (finasteride) helps regrow hair and reduces or even stops further hair loss. Q: Is there scientific evidence that PROPECIA works?
A: The effectiveness of PROPECIA was proven by a 5-year clinical study.

• 90% of men who were taking Propecia had either regrowth of hair (48%) or no further hair loss (42%) — versuss 25% of participants taking a placebo.
• Hair count measured that 2/3 of men who were taking PROPECIA regrew hair. (100% of the men who were not taking PROPECIA during the study lost thair hair.
• 77% of men who were taking PROPECIA were rated by doctors as "improved" versus 15% of those who took a placebo.
• A majority of men who took finasteride (PROPECIA) improved the appearance of their hair, their hair loss slowed down and their bald spot got smaller.

99% of the men noticed visible results (no further hair loss or hair growth) after 24 months. PROPECIA is for MEN ONLY.

Q: Is PROPECIA really effective in regrowing hair?
A: Hair count measured that 2/3 of men who were taking PROPECIA regrew hair.

All men who were given a placebo lost their hair by the end of the study.

On the other hand, most men who was given PROPECIA gained hair at the end of the study.

By the end of the study an average difference between men who took PROPECIA and men who took a placebo in 1-inch circle on top of head was 277 hairs in a test spot.

Q: Will there be a visible difference if I stay on PROPECIA?
A: 90% of patients on PROPECIA had visible results (improvement or maintenance).

Q: Will I grow natural-looking hair?
A: A study reported that hair grew in thicker, faster, or both.

PROPECIA grows natural hair, and natural hair looks natural.

Q: How fast can PROPECIA work, and how long should I continue taking it?
A: You may see the results of the treatment after three months.

If you have MPHL, you should take PROPECIA for as long as you want to have healthy hair.

If you stop treatment, you will likely lose the results you achieve during 1 year of taking Propecia.

Q: What are the side effects of PROPECIA, and how often do they occur?
A: Clinical studies demonstrated that side effects of Propecia are wery rare.

Less then 2% of men had sexual side effects (decrease in the amount of semen, less desire for sex and difficulty in achieving an erection). These side effects dissapear after PROPECIA treatment is stopped. Also these side effects decrease to 0.3% or even less by the 5th year of treatment.

1.4% of man reported: problems with ejaculation; allergic reactions, rash, itching, hives, and swelling of the lips and face; breast tenderness and enlargement; and testicular pain.

Q: Why is your product so cheap?
A: There are some reasons for that. We spend nothing on marketing. The product comes into the country unregistered and no taxes and fees are paid. The manufacturer is registered in an offshore zone and the costs of production are wary low.

Q: What does Generic stand for?
A: Generic means using a name of the active ingredient in the name of the pill. For example Viagra - is a brand name, sildenafil - generic name. The contents of branded and generic pills are absolutely the same.

Q: Why does the name printed on the pill differ from the branded one?
A: The on the pill is the name of active ingredient used here (generic name). The contents of branded and generic pills are absolutely the same. The difference is in the name only. Generic drugs' makers cannot use the brand names on their pharmaceuticals. That would be the breach of copyright. Using the well known ingredients is absolutely legal.

Q: Why does the shape of the pill differ from that of the branded one?
A: The shape of the pill is the property of the manufacturer of this branded pill and copying the shape will mean the breach of copyright as well.

Q: What is the package like?
A: The pills come in one or more blister packs containing 10 pills each. All orders under 60 pills are shipped in one package. Large orders can be split in 2 packs and come in 2 separate envelopes. The second part of a large order is dispatched in 3 days after the initial one.

Q: What if my order is delayed at customs?
A: In case your order is delayed at customs, they inform you of that. They ask the recipient to come and give them a permission to open the parcel. At this point it is examined and given to you. If you have any problems with getting your order, please let us know and we will try to resolve the problem.
